Boonedox Stiffener Board For Groovy Landing Gear

 A set of two UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) stiffening plates used to strengthen the hull in the area where the landing gear attaches, especially useful for thinner-walled hulls or larger mounting surfaces. 

• Dimensions / Material:

  • Two plates, each 4" × 8" in size (before any trimming or shaping)

  • Made of UHMW (durable plastic) 

  • Can be cut or shaped (with a jigsaw, bandsaw, etc.) to better fit between the landing gear backing plates and the inside of the hull.

• Intended Use: These stiffeners are installed between the interior hull surface and the landing gear backing plates (i.e. behind where the landing gear fasteners go) to distribute load and prevent crushing or deformation, especially on hulls that are thinner or have large surface areas of contact.
